A first Ayurvedic consultation at Policlinic House runs about 45 minutes. You will be asked about your history, medication, sleep, digestion and daily routine, and you will leave with a written plan and a review date.
Who this is for
Ayurvedic consultation suits long-standing complaints where routine, diet and constitution matter as much as a prescription — persistent digestive trouble, stress-related symptoms, recurring joint or back pain, and the slow work of convalescence after an illness.
It is not the right first stop for acute infection, red-flag symptoms or anything that needs urgent investigation. Where that is what we find, the consultation ends with a referral rather than a preparation.
How the visit runs
What is included
- A 45-minute first consultation
- Prakriti and pulse assessment
- A written plan in Nepali or English
- A review appointment date
What it costs
The consultation fee is displayed at reception and quoted when we confirm your booking. Preparations, where they are prescribed, are quoted separately before you agree to them.
A plan you cannot keep is not a plan. We would rather prescribe three changes you will actually make than thirty you will not.
Before you book
Bring your current prescriptions and any recent laboratory reports. Several classical preparations interact with anticoagulants, thyroid replacement and diabetes medication, so the clinician needs the full picture before prescribing anything.
